題目:   What Taipei City Will Be Like When It Is Completely Internationalized.

What would it be like if we could just tell foreigners that we come from Taipei without explaining the location of it ? Every large city in the world has its need to be internationalized, and Taipei is no exception. Being internationalized means capable of recieving state-of-the-art technology, progress in worldwide trade, and an international identity to the world.

The reason why Taipei's techology has been slowing down lately is because most of the researchers here are not fully prepared for the newest technology. When Taipei is completely internationalized, some of the best researchers in the world will be glad to cooperate with our researchers in Taipei. This will elevate our reseachers to a new level and widen their views, giving them the ability to invent things on their own. With this, we will be able to live a better life with all the most up-to-date conveniences. Internationalizing Taipei's technology will also provide more career opportunities for the people, because all technology progression takes a lot of workers to realize it.

World trade problems will also be solved when Taipei is internationalized. One of the main troubles that Taipei face in world trade is that foreign countries do not see any markets here, and therefore neglect this great wealthy city. But when Taipei is completely internationalized, it will attract more people from all over the world to move in. And with all these people, the need for more and better products will open up a bigger market here. Taipei will then earn a well-mentioned reputation and no other country will be able to stop us from entering worldwide trade organizations. At this stage, Taipei will be able to sit shoulders to shoulders with cities such as Tokyo, New York, London and many other great cites in the world.

Being the capital city of the Republic of China, Taipei's internationalization will give our country an international identification. Isn't it embarassing when you show your passport to people in other countries and they don't even know our country. This kind of situation will no longer happen again when Taipei is completely internationalized. Because when foreign nations must deal with this fully internationalized city, they will have to admit that Taiwan belongs to the Republic of China and not the People's Republic of China. The Republic of China will then be completely accepted by all nations in every corner of the earth.

I love Taipei city and I would really want to be there when it becomes completely internationalized. To make this possible, we will have to let everyone around us realize the importance of internationalizing Taipei and see further into the future instend of staring at the ground. It is said "When the boots hit the earth, the man moves forward." Let us all move forward with a steady pace and make Taipei a completely internationalized city.
