| 題目: What Taipei City Will Be Like When It Is Completely Internationalized. | |||
|
Taipei, the biggest and most modern city in the Republic
of China, is well-known to all the people throughout the world for its
technology and diligent people. When you talk about Taiwan with a foreigner,
he may just think of Taipei over other cities. In
recent years, the government plans for making Taiwan as the Asia transportation
center. If it is realized, Taipei will become a completely international
city. What will Taipei be like when it is completely internationalized?
If Taipei is completely internationalized, I think the streets of Taipei will be very "colorful". All kinds of foreigners will appear here and there in this city. If you bump into someone along the street, he could be a Japaness, and you may not know how to say "Sorry" to him. At school, there could be foreign students frequently. The classmate next to you may be from Tailand, and you may have a problem borrowing an eraser from him. I think when the time comes, our government could replace our main language --Chinese to the international language --English. It sounds great for some learning-English-well people, but it is terrible oppositely for others who are not good at English. Walking on the street, we may see a large number of foreign stores, restaurants and coffee shops. We may have Frence bread and coffee for breakfast, Indain hot garlic rice for lunch, and Japaness Woo-Long noodles for dinner. We may eat American big hot dogs on the side of the road, buy North-American dumbs in the department stores, and enjoy the snake show in the night markets. We could talk to the classes about foreign cultures, foreign customs, and even foreign manners. What Taipei city will be being completely internationalized? I think it will be a wonderful sight. We should contact other races before the time that the whole world becomes an international village comes. We will have a more colorful life than nowadays if the topic question comes ture. I hope the time will come soon because I want to enjoy more happiness in this international city, my hometown, Taipei. |
